Truth being told, creating a morning routine for myself and sticking to it was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. When I was seeking freedom from my unhealthy relationship with food and trying to figure out what it meant to have ‘balance’ in my life, my morning routine was what really set the tone for it all. It’s something I truly value and the return on investment is ridiculous!
It’s incredible how focusing on how you START your day can and will affect how the rest of your day plays out. I’m sure you’ve seen that truth in action plenty of times. You wake up late, rush to get ready, run out the door, don’t eat breakfast, realize you forgot 3 things by the time you get to work, etc. You end up frazzled, out of sorts and everything seems to stumble downhill from there.
The beauty of this guide is that it’s designed to be manageable and easy to follow. You don’t need to magically find 35 minutes in your morning to implement a morning routine. I’m a real human too, I also do not like getting up way earlier than necessary and I know it’s unrealistic to magically find oodles of time in the morning.
